Tuition Matters

In the knowledge based society, having a tuition has became a norm for students.The statistic has shown that every primary school kid in the class would be engaged to a tuition centre or home private tutor. Those without a tutor has parents working as tutors.

However is having tuition necessary? What was the purpose of having tuition? Was it to keep the students competitive with the rest or to achieve the straight As grade or to make up for the time when the parents are at work?
